What is cosmetic dentistry? Well, cosmetic dentistry is really anything that makes a person more willing to smile, I would say. Things like whitening your teeth, veneers, crowns, straightening your teeth, all those things I would consider cosmetic dentistry and all those are things that we do here at Colorado Dental Arts.
So here at the office, we, a lot of times, unfortunately, get a lot of people who say, "I just don't like my teeth, Doc. I think I need to have them all removed." Well, sometimes that is the answer. And if so, we can get you there. One option for many people is implants. We can restore, get your smile back to where it was way before you had any concern about your teeth.
So when it comes to cosmetic dentistry, we think, "Hey, I want to look great when I smile." This is true. But there are also some other benefits. When we get your teeth in a proper shape and easier ability to keep your teeth clean, to floss, well, that goes into a better oral health situation. When teeth are straighter, it's easier, frankly, just to keep them clean.
